We believe in maintaining a strong sense of community in which all staff work to ensure students are happy, healthy and safe.
We provide many opportunities for our students to develop their spiritual, moral, social and cultural understanding of the world and of the multi-cultural society in which we live. Such issues will be discussed openly in assemblies, PSHE sessions and in Religious Education. We celebrate festivals of all religions and respect the requirements of different faiths regularly celebrating events such as Black History Month and International Week across the academy.
We value our good relationships with local primary schools and the wider community and seek to support both by sharing our resources and becoming a hub of out of hours community learning. An increasing number of local people contribute to and gain from all the academy offers.
