Innovative curriculum
Our curriculum offers something for everyone, educates the whole person and provides academic excellence in a studious and forward looking community. The subjects we offer enable students to progress to any university course, preparing them for life in a globally mobile society and meeting the technological challenges of a rapidly changing world. The majority of students with 5 A*-C grades in Year 11 will enter the two-year Level 3 programme. We offer a wide range of both vocational skills based BTEC National courses and traditional academic A Levels providing a range of routes to university and top jobs. We also offer a one year Level 2 course for students who have not quite achieved 5 A*-C grades in Year 11 and plan to progress to our two year Level 3 programme in the future. This pathway provides students with the opportunity to retake English and Mathematics if necessary, undertake a vocational ICT course and take a number of new and exciting subjects.
