Individual learning

Academy students will receive an all-round education that motivates and inspires them.  They will be encouraged to develop personal and social skills that will help them throughout their lives.  Every student will have an Individual Learning Plan and their own adult mentor who will help     them to get the best out of their education and to make the right choices for a bright future.

The Academy has a large number of Learning Support Assistants and will give extra support to students where necessary and provide extension programmes for students identified as gifted or talented in any area.
