Walthamstow Academy has a powerful, intellectual and rigorous curriculum. Students are challenged to be the best they can be, whatever their starting point, and as a result, we see continuous improvement across the Key Stages.
At the end of Year 9, students make their curriculum choices, meaning that from Year 10 they are studying subjects they are particularly passionate and excited about, and for more time across the week.
In Year 7 students study English, Maths, Science, Computing, French, Spanish, Music, Art, Drama, RE, Geography, History and PE. They study PSHRE during form time.
In Year 8 students study English, Maths, Science, Computing, French, Spanish, Music, Art, Drama, RE, Geography, History and PE. They study PSHRE during form time.
