CPLD Quality Mark

On 4 September 2011 we achieved the Bornze award of the CPLD Quality Mark.

The CPLD Quality Mark is a national, externally assessed, Quality Mark for school CPLD provision.

Bob Haywood, lead assessor for The CPLD Quality Mark's said "The academy clearly has a secure culture of inclusive professional learning and development and this has impacted well on standards and achievement. The evidence was strong on a number of objectives and many aspects of silver level evidence naturally appeared during the assessment.”

 

Inclusion Quality Mark

On 8 July 2011 Walthamstow Academy were awarded the Inclusion Quality Mark.

The Inclusion Quality Mark recognised the inclusive nature of the Academy’s work.

Schools and Academies which obtain the IQM Award have demonstrated to external assessors that they focus on learning and achievement in its widest sense and show how they see differences as opportunities for learning.
